I look forward to this time of year... there is nothing more exciting than NYC at Christmas time. The lights, the Rockefeller Christmas Tree, the Nutcracker (ouch!), eggnog, pumpkin bread, getting Christmas cards from friends and family, decorating the Christmas tree and of course the music (nothing beats Thistlehair the Christmas Bear)! A family friend actually starts playing Christmas music the day after Halloween... If Dee Dee can do it that early, I can start before Thanksgiving, right?
Well, this year was even more special. She was our BEST PRESENT EVER and it was the first of everything with Kajsia. Taking her to see Santa at Bloomingdales, staring at the Christmas tree lights, wrapping her like a bundle to see "The Tree", opening gifts, dressing her up in the cutest holiday garb and watching her eyes light up to the soundtrack of "Alabama's Christmas."
