Cassie, Vi, Joe and Kajsia

Who doesn't love cousins? Kajsia and Cassie (2) will have great memories and pictures to prove all the fun they have as they grow up together. We are so glad that Vi felt well enough to make the drive down with Cassie and Joe in tow to be with us. Vi is about 11 weeks along and has been feeling that awful "morning sickness" that lasts more like 24-7. Thanks to you all for making the extra early morning effort. We love the 12's!

Lynne, Bryson and Kajsia

Of course nothing important happens in my life w/o Lynne (my bff). She was the connection that made the introduction to my sweetheart Tage. I am forever indebted to her, so the least I could do I figured was name my first born after her. Hence, Kajsia LYNNE Wright.

Lynne has been my anchor, my sounding board, my "family on the east coast" and my friend who helped me always be better. There aren't to many people like her in the world. It doesn't matter if we've spoken in 2 days or 2 months, she is always the best listener and we have the best laughs (it doesn't hurt that she's a great dancer either!). I named Kajsia after her not only to honor her, but in hopes that Kajsia will carry the same attributes and be the friend to many that Lynne has been to one.

Lynne is married to Stacy (who is working in Jacksonville, FL) so luckily she still has company with the other man in her life, Bryson. He is our buddy, our nephew our little rockstar. He was so tender and sweet with Kajsia. He'd be a great big brother (hint, hint, hint!).

Kajsia and Papa and Nana

This was the weekend right before dad got put in as the Branch President of the UNM singles ward. Their lives are a whirlwind and how they fit this special day in is an absolute miracle. It always amazes me that they had 5 kids, when I'm barely keeping my head above water with 1. We love you so much, especially for preparing and cooking the brisket and handpicking the pomegranate seeds for the salad. You come to my house and you make the dinner...

Kajsia and the Wrights

We are so grateful to have parents that love Kajsia and get up early to drive to NYC and be with us for Kajsia's baby blessing. It meant a lot to have them their to support us. We love Grandma and Grandpa so much! I'll let you decide who Tage gets his good looks from.

Kajsia and Nana

Nana brought Kajsia to church for us because Tage and I had early morning mtgs. We waited to dress her as she is known to have "blow-outs" (and I'm not talking hair here!) on a regular basis. Rather than ruin her white dress, we waited to the last minute. I can't believe I actually had my wits about me to take this picture during all the commotion, but it's a treasure. It made me pause and tear up, my little angel's first white dress.

Kajsia's Baby Blessing

Kajsia Lynne Wright as she will now be known. I couldn't have imagined this day to be any more perfect. Family and friends who came to support and be a part of our memorable day. My mom and dad flew back with me from NM just for the blessing. Tage Sr. (dad) and Cindy (mom) with Joe, Vi and Cassie drove from CT. Lynne and Bryson drove from CT as well.

Kajsia's dress (which I have to brag was gorgeous), bow and shoes straight from Angels in Harlem. I found it months before I even knew if she was a girl, I went back a week after I found out it was a girl to get the dress I'd been eyeing for her special day. My love muffin didn't even make a peep! When proud daddy Tage showed her off, he beamed with pride as ooh's and ahh's came from the congregation. A blessing day that was picture book perfect...
