Yes, the Stake Youth Block Party Fundraiser was a huge success! After much planning and preparation the pampering began at 10am. Shaniqua, Liana and Shannon were the head technicians of the Harlem Nail Spa and surprised me with their hard work ethics (only a 10 minute break for lunch and an afternoon snack!). They painted young and old. Over 50 manicures later they still had smiles and even suggested that it would be something they'd do every weekend to earn $$.
We had the most profitable booth on the block, as told by one of the leaders in the stake!
Holla... Harlem YW REPRESENTED!!!
Cyra has been showing everyone her sparkly pink toenails today. Thanks guys. It was a huge success. And how about those cookbooks. Way to go all around!
